Using WordPress
Fermion allows you to use WordPress to manage pages on your website. Please note the following things before getting started:
WordPress is used only for page building for your convenience. Your real website on Fermion is not served via WordPress.
Custom pages you build inside WordPress automatically gets published via Fermion when you Sync WordPress with Fermion.
Make sure to Sync WordPress with Fermion whenever you want to make all changes live on your website. Without that, your WordPress changes will not be synced and will be lost on refresh.
This is a temporary WordPress instance. If you don't use it for 20-30 minutes, the instance will be killed.
How can you create a custom page?
Step 1: From your dashboard, navigate to
Pages & redirects
.Step 2: Go to
Custom Pages
inside the tab, and click onStart WordPress
.Step 3: Once you Start WordPress, it'll take upto 60 seconds to load. Once loaded, it'll give you access credentials and three options like below on your screen.
Step 4: Open WordPress, and use the credentials on your previous screen to access WordPress.
Step 5: You'll see a view like below on your screen.
This gives you access to WordPress builder, from where you can create, sync and manage pages quickly with low code assistance.
How to create custom pages on WordPress?
WordPress allows you to create beautiful websites with its thousands of plugins available. Some of the plugins recommended by Fermion:
Once your work is done, go back to your Fermion dashboard, sync your pages and close the work session.
When you press this button, all static pages you created on WordPress will automatically be mirrored on your main website hosted on Fermion.
