# Resources

> Learn how to add downloadable resources and materials in your course syllabus

**Resources** are downloadable files and materials that you can provide to your students as part of your course. Resources can include PDFs, documents, code files, templates, or any other downloadable content that supports student learning.

## How do I add resources?

    Click the <code>+</code> button to expand the course items' view.<br />

  <Step title="Add a Resources item">
    Click on <code>Resources</code>. This will add a resources item inside your section.<br />

  <Step title="Enter details">
    Enter a <code>Title</code> and <code>Label</code> for your resource.<br />

  <Step title="Edit and upload files">
    Click on the newly added <code>Resource</code> item to edit it and add files.<br />

    From here, you can edit the Name, Label and also upload files:<br />

  <Step title="Save and publish">
    Save your changes and publish the item to make it available to students.
